Basalt fiber yarn, made from basalt rock, it is a cluster composed of parallel strands or single strand of parallel strand without twisting, it is able to withstand temperatures up to 1800F/982C, Basalt fiber is to reinforced polymers (FRPs) and structural composites, compatiable with epoxy resin, unsaturated polyester resin, vinyl ester and phenolic resin, It has a similar chemical composition as glass fiber but has better strength characteristics, high modulus, high impact strength, and also highly resistant to alkaline, acidic and salt attack making it a good candidate for concrete, bridge and shoreline structures.It can be weaving various unidiretional cloth for building reinforcement,winding tubes, cans and gas cylinders, weaving tape , rope,mesh,geotextile and woven roving, the raw materials for biaxial fabric and multiaxial basalt fiber combination fabric.we export basalt fiber to differen countries like South East Asia, Middle East and so on.it is packing in carton and pallet, specification available as well like: 9 micron/136 tex. 13 micron/800 tex. 13 micron/1200 tex. 16 micron/2400 tex. 16 micron/4800 tex.
